DSC Lead Application Form Questions

DSC Lead is a long-form comprising of numerous questions to know you better and about your contributions. Make sure to mention all your technological achievements and contributions to make your application strong and effective. The application form consists of the following questions

Section 1 (optional)— Share the Qwiklabs profile link if you already have it. If not, create an account with the link provided in the application form and start the lab work.

Section 2 (optional)— Asks about technical articles or documents written by you. Provide the links (copy and paste to avoid mistakes) separated by commas.

Section 3 — This question asks about your leadership qualities, that “have you led teams for school projects or any extra-curricular projects?” Answer in “Yes” or “No”.

Section 4 — If you select yes, you need to describe the project, role you played, notable contributions made by you.

Section 5— Provide a 1-minute long video link (HIGHLY ENCOURAGE to share video) in the answer section. You can share the Youtube link or Google Drive link(view-only). If you are sharing the video from Youtube, it can be private, unlisted, or public. You will be provided three options for the video-1. What developer tool, product, or platform you are passionate about and why? 2. What would be the purpose of your Developer Student Club community. 3. Challenge students interested in becoming developers are facing on your campus.

Section 6(optional) — Asks about your Linkedin or relevant social profile links. Provide the links (copy and paste to avoid mistakes) separated by commas.

Section 7(optional) — Asks about your Git profile links. Provide the links (copy and paste to avoid mistakes) separated by commas. It is mentioned to share the link only if you have any projects on Github.

Section 8(optional) — Share the link of the code if you had built a mobile or web app. Here add the link that project repository from Github.

Section 9— Asks about your association with Google community programs — Google Developers Group(GDG), Broad Developer Communities(BDC), Women Techmaker(WTM), Google Developers Experts(GDE). Need to answer “Yes” or “No”.

Section 10— If you have answered “Yes” to the above question, you need to tell the community you were involved in and your role in it.

Section 11 — If you are involved in any other developer programs or communities other than the above mentioned. Provide details of it in the answer section (important — provide links).
